Applying for a Loan

How can I apply for a loan?

Our application process takes place online. In the top right corner of the page is a green button. Click to get started! You will create an account first with your personal information. After your account is created, you can come back to your application at any time by logging in.

When will I know if I am approved?

Once you submit your application, there will be an instant decision with a max approved amount showing you the maximum amount you can finance through CFS.

I do not reside in a state where CFS is available. Can I still apply for a loan?

At this time we cannot provide loans for customers outside of our participating states. We currently do not operate in the following states: Massachusetts, North Dakota, South Carolina, Vermont, and West Virginia.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes, your information is stored securely. CFS maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal law and implements appropriate information security protocols. See our Disclosures and Definitions page for more information.

What if I need more money to cover the cost of the repairs on my vehicle?

We review all application and credit information to determine the maximum loan amount you qualify for. You will need to make arrangements with the service center to pay for any repairs over the maximum loan amount.

About My Loan

I was approved! Where do I sign?

Your Loan Documents will need to be signed electronically after the work on your vehicle is complete. If you were to sign your documents before the work was done, the amount may change and we will not be able to revise your contract. Also, your first payment is due 30 days after signing. We will not be able to change this date so make sure you sign when everything is done.

Does my Service Center know the status of my application?

Yes, in fact, they are notified upon your approval and will show you a copy of your repair order through your portal online before you sign your documents. Make sure the work is all complete and you agree with what was done on your vehicle.

Can I get a copy of my repair order from CFS?

You should keep your copy of the repair order from the Service Center. Because this is documentation that does not originate with CFS, we will not have a way to provide the repair order to you after you sign your loan documents.

What if I disagree with the Service Center about the final bill amount?

The cost of the repairs and the negotiation of any final repair amount with the Service Center is entirely your responsibility. CFS, Inc. has no role in the process.

What interest charges will I pay on a loan through CFS?

You will be charged interest based on your application and credit worthiness. Our rates range from 9.99% to 36%. Loans through CFS are based on simple interest (vs. compounding) which means your interest is calculated on your principal amount (the amount you are financing), and you will never be charged interest payments on interest accrued like you do with credit cards.

I am signing my loan documents and I can’t select the option to pay off my loan within the 60 Day Interest Waived period. Help!

The 60 Day Interest Waived promotion is automatically available to all customers if the terms of the promotion are met. If you are unable to pay the loan within the 60 Days as intended, the terms in your contract will apply so make sure you choose the monthly payment amount that works best for you.

Can I print and save my loan documents after I sign them?

Yes, we encourage you to keep a copy of your loan documents for your records. The TILA disclosure can be printed or emailed to you prior to signing your loan documents. After you sign everything electronically, a copy of your loan documents will be emailed to you. You can also locate your documents at any time when you are logged in to your account online. You may also contact CFS at (855) 808-5861 to request a copy by mail for up to a year after you have paid off your loan.

How do I get the money to pay the Service Center?
Your loan proceeds will be paid directly to the Service Center on your behalf.

Managing My Loan

What can I access when I log in to my account?

You can manage your account online by making payments, choosing paper/paperless statements, choosing to receive payment reminders, reviewing your contract, and more.

How can I reset my password?

Before you sign in, there is a link below the password field that says “Forgot your password?” You can click this link and enter the email address associated with the account. An email will be sent to you with reset instructions. If you did not receive an email, check the junk folder. For your security, Customer Care cannot change your password for you.

I never received a statement

Monthly statements can be viewed online when you log in. You will receive an email when there is a new statement available in your online account. If you would like to receive statements by mail, you can opt out of paperless while logged in to your account by visiting your account preferences page.

How can I make a payment?

To make a payment, CFS has several options available to you.

  • Make payments or set up Recurring ACH online by signing into your account
  • Call (855) 808-5861 with a bank routing and account number, or credit/debit card
  • Mail a check or money order to Confident Financial Solutions, PO Box 205853, Dallas, TX 75320-5853
  • Set up the online bill pay service offered by your financial institution.
I need more work done on the vehicle. Can I take out another loan?

You may be eligible to apply for an additional loan if you have been in your current loan for 3 billing cycles in good standing. Other restrictions do apply. Log in to your account at to apply.

Can I pay off my loan at any time?

Yes, you can pay your loan off at any time without prepayment penalties.

CFS Referral Program


CFS’s Referral Program is open to all individuals who are current borrowers through the CFS program, and who are at least eighteen years of age or older.

All $25 referral credits will be applied to your current loan through CFS.

To receive credit for a referral, you need to share your unique referral link, and your friends must use the link to register for a CFS account and then to apply for, and be granted, a loan. In order for a referrer (that’s you) to be paid, your friends must not only be approved for a loan but also accept loan terms and move forward with funding.

Only one referral savings will be granted for each unique referred loan approval, regardless of whether the friend takes out multiple loans. You (the referrer) won’t earn referral savings if your friends have existing CFS accounts or if they don’t use the referral link you give them to create an account.

Referrers will not receive savings for referring themselves, or for submitting an application via their own unique referral link. Referrers are limited to referring friends, colleagues, family members, and direct acquaintances. CFS reserves the right to disqualify anyone at any time. Anyone who violates these official rules are ineligible for payment.

Non-solicitation Agreement

If you participate in the referral program, you agree not to solicit loan applications. You may not collect information from your contacts or fill out a CFS loan application for your friends.

No Spam

You need to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-spam laws. If you share a referral link, including by email or social media, it must be done in a personal manner. Bulk emails, or any use of automated devices or third party services is prohibited. Referral links should only be sent to your friends, colleagues, family members, and direct acquaintances. You can’t purchase Internet search terms or publicly advertise our loans. Further, any distribution of a referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam,” any content which impersonates or implies an affiliation with or endorsement by CFS or any CFS subsidiary, or any actions which otherwise violates any conditions imposed by CFS, is prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination.

Independent Contractor

You are participating as an independent contractor. Neither one of us is starting an employment relationship; you are not entitled to benefits. If the total deductions you earn off your loan a calendar year are more than $599, then we’ll send you a W-9.
